Rae Dawn Chong says she had sex with Mick Jagger when she just 15-years-old

Actress Rae Dawn Chong has made the revelation that she had sex with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger in 1977 when she was a minor.

Chong, who famously starred in Mick Jagger’s video for ‘Just Another Night’, detailed how that performance led to a major breakthrough in her career after she landed a role in 1985 action film Commando which was directed by Mark L. Lester and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, in which Chong was discussing her career, the actress was asked how she came to know Jagger, it is reported that she “accidentally blurted out that I’d had sex with him when I was 15. It just slipped out.”

“When I was young, underage jailbait, I was hanging out with Mick Jagger,” she told hosts Seth Abramovitch and Chip Pope. “And so I knew the Stones. I never saw the Stones. I was not necessarily a fan of the Stones, but I hung out with Mick a few times .. Super-underage, but whatever.”

She added: “We were friends, put it that way, with benefits,” she continued. “I didn’t want to be with him. I thought he was old, but I thought he was interesting because he was Mick Jagger. You know you’re young, you’re just newly sexual—even though you are underage—and it was like, yeah, it was easy-peasy. Should I be more horrified?”

The comments, which immediately hit headlines, date back to 1977 when Chong was just 15-years-old and Jagger, at the height of his fame, was aged 33.

Concerned about the comments she has made, Chong sought out an interview with The Daily Mail in order to clarify her story: “He never asked me how old I was and I never told him,” she said. “It never came up. I remember thinking he was really cute. He had tousled hair. I thought, ‘Oh man, he is beautiful.

Chong continued: “He did nothing wrong. He didn’t make me do anything I didn’t want to do. It was the 1970s, a different era. I wasn’t a victim. I don’t want him to get into trouble about this. It wasn’t traumatising. I knew what I was doing. I wasn’t an innocent schoolgirl. I always acted a lot older than I was. I was a grown-up at 15.”

When asked why she was telling the story now, Chong claimed that she was attempting to clear up any confusion after she accidentally revealed the story: “I feel incredibly bad about it. It’s me and my big mouth. My family and friends knew about it but it’s not something I have ever dined out on.’

She added: “He’s probably going to lose his shit because I was a minor,” in reference to how Jagger may react to the headlines. “He’s going to be so mad at me.”

“I will tell you that it didn’t traumatize me, it wasn’t a #MeToo moment, it was something that empowered me, too. I could have said no, I wasn’t forced. I thought he was adorable and I was just new at the whole thing [sex] and he grabbed me and said ‘you’re it’. I wanted to be it.”
