The Beatles’ Iconic Album ‘Abbey Road’ Returns as a Bestseller in the U.S.

The Beatles, hailed as the bestselling band of all time, continue to make waves decades after their prime. One of their most celebrated albums, Abbey Road, is once again climbing the charts, proving the timeless appeal of their music.

This week, Abbey Road has made its presence felt on three Billboard charts in the U.S., with notable returns to two of them. On the Vinyl Albums chart, which ranks the 25 top-selling vinyl records across the country, the album secures the No. 25 spot. Meanwhile, on the Top Album Sales chart, which tracks total purchases across all formats, Abbey Road lands at No. 40.

According to Luminate, Abbey Road sold an additional 5,400 copies in the past tracking period in the U.S., marking a slight increase of less than 1% from the previous week. This minor bump in sales, combined with relatively low competition, was enough to ensure its continued chart success.

The album also remains on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. across all metrics. While it slips from No. 163 to No. 179 this week, such fluctuations are typical for a years-old release. Its ongoing presence is still a testament to its enduring popularity.

With Abbey Road closing in on 500 weeks on both the Billboard 200 and Vinyl Albums charts, this milestone highlights the album’s long-lasting impact on music fans across generations.

The Beatles’ legacy endures, and Abbey Road continues to shine as a symbol of their unmatched artistry and universal appeal.
